I National Conference on Cybersecurity Research
Given the growing relevance of cybersecurity in all social and economic areas, the need has been identified to create a forum where the various actors working in the field of cybersecurity research (universities, technology centers, companies and government agencies) can exchange their work and experiences with the common goal of advancing research in the field of cybersecurity at the national level.
To this end, the National Conference on Cybersecurity Research was created, where its first edition will be held in León on September 14, 15 and 16, 2015. The National Cybersecurity Research Conference is composed of 5 main areas:
- Cybersecurity Research.
- Cybersecurity Education and Innovation.
- Cybersecurity Industry Research and Innovation.
- Workshop Proposal.
- Proposed Challenges.
The organization of this first National Conference on Cybersecurity Research is the responsibility of the University of León, with the support of INCIBE on behalf of the Network of Excellence in R&D&I in Cybersecurity (action framed as measure 25 in the Plan of Confidence in the Digital Sphere 2013-2015. The organization hopes that this event will be successful in its first edition and that it will lead to the organization of future editions led by other teams from the national territory.
